HMC has designed a wide variety of mechanical components and devices currently in use by a host of Commercial and Defense clients. The Company began mechanical design services in 1988 offering basic design services to industrial accounts. Since that time, HMC has a diverse design portfolio ranging from simple components to complex integrated machinery. The company has multiple design platforms including Pro Engineer, SolidWorks and AutoCad. Advanced analysis tools including Computation Fluid Dynamics, Finite element analysis, Catastrophic material failure analysis, Heat and mass transfer analysis, Thermodynamic analysis are also available.

• Defense:

In 1990, the company received contracts to design and manufacture a wide array of simulated munitions in support of the U.S. Government’s effort to destroy the large stockpile of Chemical Weapons stored at various sites around the country. Company engineers successfully designed and built over 100 different surrogate munitions designs including large caliber projectiles, fuzes, bombs, explosive trains, land mines, rockets, spray tanks and bulk containers. The company still supports these efforts even after 20 years of program involvement supplying design and production services.

HMC proudly supports five new programs providing design and manufacturing services to multiple defense customers including special bearing designs, material sciences and testing, advanced equipment design and development.

• Industrial/Commercial:

HMC has provided engineering services to a variety of Industrial and Commercial clients. Our engineers have directly worked on New Product Introductions and development; prove design, prototyping, testing, material selection, coatings, heat treating and manufacturing process development. We have participated in numerous successful value engineering/ cost reduction programs resulting in major savings to our customers. HMC has retained over 500+ design and production projects and prides itself on maintaining a high value relationship with all of its customers.
